Hello there,
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Ernesto,
And I am here to help.
In my therapeutic work I utilize an existential-humanistic approach. The focus of this approach is you and your lived experience. Whatever challenges you may face I believe the resources needed to overcome them lay within you. It is my aim to establish with you a safe and accepting environment that welcomes you as you are. Through the therapy process I believe we can foster your resilience and the courage needed to break free from the patterns that bind you. The ultimate aim of therapy is to improve the quality of your life and your relationships, including the relationship with yourself.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I traveled to Dubuque, Iowa for my undergraduate education. After graduation I made my way back to southern California and finished my graduate degree. I have done the majority of my training at the Center for Individual and Family Counseling in Valley Village as well as my current position at La Vida Counseling Center in Orange County. I work with teenagers, adults, families and couples. I provide services in both English and Spanish. I serve the L.A./San Fernando Valley area out of Encino and the Orange County area out of Santa Ana. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT121607).
Therapy isn’t easy but it is certainly worth it. We invest so much of ourselves into others and the world around us, why not invest in yourself? Schedule your free consultation today.
