What is Therapy?

Therapy is a relational endeavor that looks at all aspects of your life, your history, your dreams, goals, ambitions, as well as your disappointments and failures. The goal of therapy is to identify and utilize your strengths while improving upon your weaknesses. The hope is that by creating a self awareness this will lead to an emotionally healthier and productive life. In therapy clients work to see what changes need to be made in order to live the life they desire. People often feel that they are in a rut and do not know how to change the course of their lives. Instead of relying on fate to decide the course of your life, you can work with a therapist in identifying the changes that need to be made in order to improve your life and improve the quality of your relationships.

How do I begin the process?
